PART OF THE PLOT
Guest Guidelines
Before We Begin...
A few simple rules will help everyone enjoy the story.
ð Stay in the story â but stay safe.
Your character may get into dangerous situations, but the danger is part of the story. Game actions are fictional unless the host specifically tells you otherwise.
ð No running.
Mysteries can get exciting, but please walk throughout the game.
ðĪš No physical fighting.
Your character may fight, attack, or be attacked as part of the story. Players should never physically fight or intentionally make physical contact with one another.
ðŠ Keep your feet on the floor.
Please don't climb on furniture, counters, shelves, or other objects.
ð Respect the space.
Don't enter rooms or areas that the host has designated as off-limits, and don't move or handle property unless it is part of the game.
ðū Give the pets a break.
If we're playing in a home with pets, please leave them safely away from the game area. This keeps both guests and pets comfortable.
ð· Keep the game alcohol-free.
Please don't consume alcohol during the Part of the Plot experience. This helps keep the game safe, comfortable, and appropriate for everyone.
ð Remember what's real and what's part of the game.
A character may be poisoned, threatened, accused, or attacked during the mystery. These are fictional game events and should never involve actual dangerous substances, physical violence, or unsafe behavior.
ðŽ Follow the Host.
If the host asks everyone to stop, move, wait, or do something differently, please follow their instructions. The host is there to keep the game moving â and everyone safe.
